MOTHER BLESSINGS
“There are places in the heart you didn’t know existed, until you love a child.”
A sacred ceremony for mom to be and her tribe of women, hosted by studio owner Karine.
Karine is a Yoga teacher, Reiki healer, and trained space holder for women.
In collaboration with you, she will design and curate the most beautiful blessing.
This day is about celebrating and empowering women, and most of all mom to be, as we shower her with love and support to help guide her over the courageous threshold into her journey as a Mother.
Ceremonies are held in our serene and intimate studio space in the centre of Stirchley, Birmingham, where we have all the equipment you need for comfort.
Refreshments can also be provided for an additional cost.
These events are usually 1.5-2 hours filled with love, gratitude, excitement - many mixed emotions which are all welcome!
Each Mother Blessings can be adapted to suit you and your group, but as an idea, can include:
Opening Circle / Welcome / Introduction.
Deep Relaxation.
Rituals & Rites of Passage.
Bathing moms feet.
Decorating moms belly.
Letter writing . creative activity.
Flower crowns (optional).
Story telling, poetry & readings.
Closing Circle & “crossing the threshold.”
Each Mother Blessing will have an altar we will gather around for part of the ceremony.
The mom will receive some beautiful tokens of the ceremony to take home, and individual gifts for guests can be arranged.
Mother Blessings start at £150 for a bespoke ceremony.
This includes:
Hiring of the studio space.
Use of all equipment.
Altar.
Initial consultation and 2 x further Zoom meetings to finalise plans.
A gift package for Mom to take home.
Craft materials for creative activity (within reason).
Additional Costs:
Refreshments.
Gifts for guests.
A 50% deposit is required on booking, and the other 50% after the final meeting (prior to the ceremony).
