STUDIO HIRE
Our studio space offers the best of both worlds - an accessible high street location but once inside - a serene sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
You can find us right in the heart of Stirchley Village, just 1 minute drive or a 5 minutes walk from Bournville train station.
There are also multiple bus routes that stop within an easy walking distance to the studio.
On street parking is available, and private parking for the host is available on request.
FACILITIES
We have a separate reception space with benches and seats to relax, storage for shoes coats and belongings, and a tea station which is included in the hire cost.
There is a reception desk to welcome and check in your guests prior to your event.
The studio itself can be hired with full use of equipment which includes Yoga mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, cushions and eye pillows.
The studio space can be utilised and set up to your liking.
Blinds on the studio windows allow for light but also privacy in the space.
It is easily heated using 2 x wall heaters with adjustable temperature.
Go through the studio door and you will find a gender neutral toilet which is well equipped with sanitary items.
Our separate kitchen area with white goods can also be included in the hire price.
HIRE COSTS
Our standard hire rate is £30 per hour.
This includes full use of the studio and all equipment, Bluetooth speaker, reception area and tea station, access to the toilet and kitchen, plus private parking for the host.

As a small business ourselves we have a very limited capacity to offer our space for free, and this is usually in collaboration with charity projects only.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
The boring, but necessary bit!
These terms and conditions are between the business - Yoga Borne, and in reference to the “space” which includes the entire hire space, and the “hirer” of the space.
The terms “event” and “activity” are used in reference to the proposed, and / or agreed use of the space by the hirer and Yoga Borne.
We aim to review all applications to hire the space within 5 working days. An application to hire the space does not guarantee hire, and you will be notified by email if your application is successful.
All applications to hire the space are reviewed in consideration of our business values, morals, and ethos.
Yoga Borne require a none refundable 25% deposit of the total hire fee from the hirer in advance of hiring the space.
On paying a 25% deposit the hirer agrees that the space is fit for purpose, and agree to disclose full information about the nature of activities that will be undertaken in the business space - Yoga Borne.
No public announcement or advertisement should be made of any proposed event in the space prior to full agreement between the business and hirer, and prior to any deposit payment being paid.
The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all licences required are obtained and displayed as per legal requirements, prior to their activity taking place in the space.
The hirer ensures that the space is not used for any activities that require a licence(s) unless said licence(s) have been signed and paid for by them and relevant copies supplied to the business.
The business renounces all responsibility for any licences required by the hirer. Should the hirer not have the relevant documents and licences required for their event / activity, the business take no responsibility for the repercussions, and the hirer agrees that all financial implications are their full responsibility.
The owners and directors of Yoga Borne, and the space for hire relinquish all responsibility in the organisation of events in terms of safe keeping of money, possessions and any valuables.
The hirer must ensure that either themselves, or a person authorised by them are on the business premises at all times whilst the event takes place.
The hirer ensures that the business space remains secure at all times.
The hirer agrees that the business space will not be used for anything other than discussed and agreed upon by the hirer and the business - Yoga Borne.
The hirer agrees that business personnel of Yoga Borne will be granted and have their own access to the space at all times, as long as it does not disturb the hirers offering.
The hirer is fully responsible for and will indemnify Yoga Borne against all costs, charges, claims and damages in respect of theft, damage to the space, and injury to any person whilst they use the space.
The hirer will provide a copy of their Public Liability Insurance (PLI) and any other relevant documents prior to use of the space.
Yoga Borne are not responsible for the updating and upkeeping of relevant documents of the hirer of the space.
The hirer agrees to compensate Yoga Borne for any and all damages caused to the fixtures, fittings, equipment and furnishings, internal and external damages including structural damage, plus any additional cleaning charges during the period of hire if deemed necessary by Yoga Borne, and if in breach of the agreement.
The hirer agrees to compensate Yoga Borne, any member of the business team, and anyone attending their event should any theft occur of any items during the period of hire.
The hirer agrees to ensure that the fire and safety equipment on the premises is not interfered with.
The hirer agrees to inform those in attendance of the fire procedure and exits.
The hirer agrees to take all precautions and full responsibility to prevent accidents on the business premises.
The hirer agrees to be mindful of residents that live in and around the business and to keep music at a respectable level, specifically after 10pm.
The hirer agrees that due care and attention will be taken to ensure that minimal disturbance is caused to any residential areas when entering and vacating the space.
The hirer agrees to abide by the operational standards and open / close procedures of the business.
Yoga Borne is not responsible for loss, damages or injuries in, on, and around the space whilst the space is being hired. This includes and is not limited to the time the hirer sets up and closes down the space.
Yoga Borne reserves the right to cancel any booking and agreement without prior notice, at the business discretion. In this event, 25% deposit will be returned to the hirer.
Yoga Borne reserves the right to reject bookings which they do not feel are in line with their business values, morals, and ethos.
Yoga Borne does not welcome bookings of events that may be seen as obscene, racist, homophobic, and generally offensive or controversial, and may be in breach of our community guidelines.
If the hirer cancels within 72 hours they will be required to pay 75% of the total booking fee.
25% deposit is required on date of confirmed booking, and final payment within 14 days of event date.
Late payment of invoice is subject to 10% late payment charge per 14 days.
